Three year license agreement with Discovery HD

Discovery Channel Canada and MICO have signed a program license agreement that will grant Discovery Channel a first look and exclusive access to MICO's catalogue of High Definition programming for Canadian broadcast. The deal was announced in New York City at the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers.
"Building on our successful co-production and content sharing agreement with NHK, this new licensing deal with MICO ensures that our viewers will enjoy even more of their world in stunning High Definition in the years to come," said Paul Lewis, President and General Manager of Discovery Channel Canada.

February 27, 2007, Tokyo - Through MICO, NHK licensed 100 hours of HD programs to Sky HD, the high-definition channel of the Korean digital satellite broadcasting company Sky Life. The line-up includes The Sights of China and Globe Walkers, which are being on air on NHK HD, the new program slot introduced by Sky HD.

In addition, NHK has offered about 100 hours of HD programs to the Russian digital satellite broadcaster NTV Plus. This independent TV company is planning to start broadcasting these programs on its HD channel as of next month. Through MICO, NHK is to license travel programs such as Journey to Natural World Heritage Sites and Never Seen It, Never Done It, and nature programs including Satoyama: Japan's Secret Watergarden and Wild Secrets.

New York, NY - January 23, 2007 - MICO has signed a deal with VOOM HD Networks' Equator HD, which is owned by Rainbow Media Holdings LLC (Rainbow), to lisence more than 20+ hours of HD television content.
"NHK is recognized the world over for its pioneering work in HDTV technology, a task it committed itself to in 1964. As a result of this commitment, NHK has a wealth of programming that is consistent with the quality, storylines and production values of VOOM HD Networks. We are delighted to work with MICO in bringing these beautifully produced and thoughtfully delivered stories to our viewers in the U.S.," said Equator HD Executive Producer Ali Hossaini.
Equator HD has been lisenced seasons three and four of the NHK HD documentary series Wild Secrets, as well as ten stand-alone documentary
titles dealing with ecology and issues of cultural, wildlife and environmental concerns that impact the world.
