May 2008 -- a cyclone hit Myanmar, forcing one girl to cross the border into Thailand to rebuild life from scratch. While her father, a pro-democracy demonstrator, seeks asylum in America, the girl is unable to give up her own dream to become an engineer back in Myanmar.
The program focuses on the girl who is torn between a new life in America and her longing for Myanmar.
